Hi, I'm Emma a copy and content writer for businesses looking to create value through words on their digital platforms. The words I provide are also well-researched and thought out. Every piece of content I provide will be original to you and your business niche!
Getting a copywriter is a bit like dating. You need to vet the person you're seeing before you decide they are the elusive 'one'. If you:
Have a creative flair
Are not opposed to having a good laugh
Are committed to seeing your business grow
Want to see value in your written content
Are passionate about what you do
Then we are meant to be!
Why should you work with little old me?
I have experience! Hell yeah I do!
My career started whilst I was still a student! I've worked for a number of Perth based creative industries. I was a Content Coordinator at a digital marketing agency named Scoop Digital, where I banged out blogs, edited website copy and produced 3 newsletters a week!
I've also worked in several marketing roles. One at a commercial cleaning company and also at Umbrella Multicultural Community Care. In both these roles I am consistently writing and editing website copy! I've also been a freelance writer since I was a student. I have contributed articles to publications such as Healthline Media, Popsugar AU, Pedestrian TV and Fashion Journal!
Are you qualified?
I sure am! I have a Bachelor of Arts from Curtin University where I majored in Literary and Cultural Studies and minored in Professional Writing and History (I know - big nerd).
After I finished my degree, I turned down a job offer in the midst of Covid-19 (I'm crazy) to complete my Honours. I can safely say it was the best and most stressful year of my life. I wrote my thesis on the prevailing post-colonial discourses prevalent in the Harry Potter series and I achieved first class honours! Maybe I'll complete my PhD one day and then people will have to call me Doctor Emma!
If this is all sounding great to you, feel free to get in contact with me! We can chat about your deepest writing fears. I promise you, I don't bite...at least not any of my new clients! (Just kidding)
